The Mayfly 16 is a low maintenance launch with forward and aft deck areas finished in an attractive decorative surface with teak outer rubbing strakes and solid mahogany steam bent coaming and back rest.

The MAYFLY 16 'TRADITIONAL'

The MAYFLY 16 'TRADITIONAL' has inset solid mahogany fore and aft decks with black seaming and also an inset solid mahogany transom. All woodwork (with the exception of the floorboards and rubbing strakes) has a high gloss finish.

The MAYFLY 16 'CLASSIC'

The MAYFLY 16 'CLASSIC' is built to order with various seating layouts and colour schemes on offer. The decks are handcrafted from solid mahogany with inset solid mahogany transom. The interior is individually fitted out with redwood decorative cladding and solid mahogany seating on hand turned decorative legs. All fittings are either brass or gunmetal. Floorboards are of natural teak. All woodwork with the exception of the floorboards have a high gloss finish.

The Hull

The Hull of each Mayfly is hand layed in a colour of your choice using a 7oz lay up.  Below waterline is coated with a minimum of five coats of epoxy resin for added protection against osmosis and antifoul is applied in a colour of your choice with painted enamel boot top and cove line.  A stainless steel snore hole is located below the waterline for attaching a trailer winch wire.

Propulsion

Tiller steering.  1.5kw electric motor with variable speed controller , six 6 volt, 195 amp hour deep cycling batteries, onboard charger, battery state indicator.
Diesel and steam options are available.
